Tim's is a small Munfordville operation. We work at a family's pace, explain what we see before we touch a stone, and never pressure. If a marker is better left as it is, we'll tell you honestly.
Our standards
How we care for a stone
A gravestone can survive two hundred Kentucky winters and be ruined in twenty minutes by the wrong brush. We follow the methods used on national cemetery monuments: D/2 Biological Solution, soft natural bristles, plenty of clean water, and patience.
We also document what we do. Every visit ends with photographs and a plain-language note on how the marker should be tended in the years ahead — so the next generation knows too.
No two stones weather the same way. We start by reading the damage.

We visit the grave with you
You show us the markers that matter to your family. We look at the stone type, its condition, and what the weather has done to it.

An honest recommendation
We tell you what the stone needs — and what it doesn't. Sometimes the right answer is to leave a marker as it is.

Slow, careful hand work
Biological solution, soft brushes, patience. No pressure washing, no acids, no shortcuts that shorten a stone's life.

Photos and a follow-up
You get before-and-after photos and a note on how the stone should be tended in the years ahead.
Questions families ask
Straight answers.
- Will cleaning damage an old stone?
- Not the way we do it. We use D/2 Biological Solution and soft natural-bristle brushes — never pressure washing, wire brushes, bleach, or acid, all of which erode stone permanently.
- How long until the stone looks clean?
- You'll see a large change the same day, and D/2 keeps working for months as rain rinses the treated surface. Most stones continue brightening for a full season.
- Do I need the cemetery's permission?
- Usually yes for church and municipal grounds. We're happy to make the call and handle the paperwork with the caretaker for you.
- Do you travel outside Munfordville?
- We regularly work across Hart County and the surrounding counties. Tell us where the cemetery is and we'll let you know honestly whether the trip makes sense.
